Fear, surprise and an undying loyalty to the pope....
um, sorry, bet you weren't expecting that, hun.
It's the Spanish repitition!
by the way- the big one is manipulation of lonliness and appeal to intellect "We know YOU see what's going wrong with the world today, don't YOU want to be a part of other people who SEE what's going wrong with the world?
(They don't like it when you point out Christianity's part of the PROBLEM)

Fear and indoctrination. I have been attempting to rid myself of my programming for about three and a half years now, and I still find myself thinking in their terms inadvertently. It's hard to do, as I'm finding out.
Blessed be.

The tools I use are my personal testimony about who I was before Christ, how I met Christ, and what He has done with me since.
I also use Scripture to show God's holy requirements, how we as people consistently fall short of those requirements, and how He sent His Son Jesus to pay our debt for falling short of those requirements.

For Evangelical Christians- it's plain and simply, brainwashing at a young age. You can see exactly the methods they 'proudly' use in the documentary movie "Jesus Camp".
Certainly one of the scariest movies I've ever seen.

I serve God because I love him.
I also appreciate his ways in dealing with those who hurt others.
What you do to others God will do to you.
God is perfect and is no respecter of persons and I like that also.
I stay with him because he is the only one who is true.
I also serve him because he always blesses my kids.

There are no "tools", there's just the gospel. We can't convert people, it's their choice. Once a person accepts Christ it's still their choice to walk with him or walk away.
