Here are some steps to prevent a hang over
1. Eat a good dinner before you go out.
2. Drink clear alcohol; white wine, vodka, light rum
3. Avoid cheap alcohol
4. Eat a little something as you drink, the more fats and carbs, the more it slows the absorption of the alcohol
5. Drink a glass of water after every drink, this also helps you to pace your self
6. When you get home, drink another glass of water with a banana and a multivitamin.
7. If you feel you are getting a hangover in the morning, take an aspirin right away.

Take a B-12 and a B complex and a multi-vitamin before you go out. With a big glass of water...or two. And eat something. Don't drink terribly heavy, sip, don't chug drinks. Try to eat something at the party too. Have another water, not soda. If anyone asks why you're not pounding the drinks, just brightly say "I'm going fishing tomorrow!" In the morning repeat the vitamins. Those are all good for flushing out the liver.

Eat something before you start drinking and keep nibbling on light food throughout the evening.
Sip your drinks slowly to help you drink less while still enjoying it.
Drink a small glass of water between alcoholic drinks.
Take a couple of aspirin or ibuprofen BEFORE you go to bed with a BIG glass of water.
The only sure way to prevent a hangover is to quit drinking before you get too drunk and leaving enough time for a decent nights sleep afterwards so enjoy. Just realize that if you get too drunk to late into the night, you are trading that for the enjoyment of your fishing trip tomorrow!

Drink in moderation. Probably a bottle or two (or three) then stop drinking. What you do is get a bottle of beer, then just talk, talk and talk. You wouldn't notice how time will fly and the next thing you'll know is that you talked your way out of getting drunk. Drink coffee after you drink beer, or something hot like a soup or something.

If you find the miracle cure for this let me know!!!
I can NEVER figure out how sometimes I feel terrible after a night out... and how sometimes I feel bright and awake, even if I drink the same amount.
I will have to say that Denny's at about 3 AM always seems to work well!!

Drinking water is definatly key! Dehydration causes the headache! I would also recomend taking some advil before bed, about 800mg. Be sure to eat before you go too! Carbs are the best!

your drink to water ratio should be 1:2. the other thing you can do is drink smart water (it has electrolytes and potassium). have a banana before bed too, helps regulate your blood sugar.
try to drink a LARGE GLASS of water before bed, and eat some starches, like toast or potatoes.
you should be OK in the a.m.
