i am currently working at a theater and i have been working there for a couple of months now. I did leave a two weeks notice but yeaterday i changed my mind and told my city manager that i wanted to go ahead and stay untill i find my next job.He let me stay there longer. Should I continue to stay there untill i find another job??because it is an easy job. It gets busy sometimes and there are lots of ghetto people that go in there complaining but i don't want to quit that job that is like the easiest job that i have had so far.what do you think???????give me some advice and no rude comments.

It is always smart to find a new job before you quit one you have.
Think of it from the viewpoint of the employer deciding who to hire: someone who is obviously dependable enough to hold down a job because they are currently employed somewhere else OR someone who "says" they quit the last job to find a better one.
And, think of it from a $$ viewpoint: if it takes a little longer to find a job you would really rather have, you won't be broke in the meantime.

you never said y in the first place you wanted to leave. I have a great job, easy job www.ezfastcash.ws and if this is whats easy for you and the money is good whats the problem. You should stay and look for a job I don't know what kind of bills you have but if you quit with no money and no job? than what are you going to do?

It is just common sense to keep your current job until you get a better one especially if you are not unhappy in the job (other than pay). Having been in the business world for 30 yrs, more than half of those in senior management, I can assure you your boss will not think less of you for hanging onto this job until you find a better one. In your current position it probably happens to him on a regular basis.

The best thing to do, with any job, is the stick with it until you have found another job. Don't quit this before finding something else because then you'll be left without any money at all.

Never leave a job unless you have one lined up, unless there is a really good reason to do so. It is tough to find good jobs and it sounds like you enjoy what you're doing.
