My Guru put me on path of Bhakti when I didnt even know the "s" of spirituality. So thats Gods plan for me-my destiny. He chose it for me I didnt choose it for myself.Gyaana never satisfies me completely since then and meditation etc doesnt appeal to me so much.Devotees do a different kind of meditation.

Bhakti- according to the Bhagavad Gita. The highest path of Yoga is Bhakti. Krishna says out of all the yogis. Jnana, Karmi, and Bhakti the Bhakta is the best. I accept His opinion and I don't waste time with the rest. It is said when one comes to Bhakti they have done all yoga systems and reach the end and comes to their constitutional position in loving devotional service to the lord. The greatest Bhakti yoginies are the Gopies (the cowherd maids) says Lord Krishna. They had little knowledge of the scriptures and where not interested in any mystic power of anything, but all they wanted is to serve Lord Krishna with Pure love and devotion. Ohhhhh Kirshnnaaaa! for info go to krishnaculture.com nice site.

I am definitely in major bhakti mode as a yoga practitioner as well as Karma. I find that in my asana practice these paths apply as well at this time. Namaste

because it relatively is asserted interior the Bhagavad Gita,"Whosoever comprises Me, by in besides variety, I attain him; all adult adult males are suffering by paths which interior the tip carry approximately me." If the purpose (moksha) is a worth one, why does not various paths be presented? If Brahman is to be one with Atman, the way should not be constrained.
