As someone who knows about how to put on weight really well, here are a few tricks- It sounds horribly unhealthy, but I have had friends who have used these methods:
Eat before you go to bed- Your body doesn't have enough time to metabolize what you eat, because you are resting, so it goes directly into storage.
Up your caloric intake for the day- Take a regular day and figure out exactly what your caloric intake is for that day- basically, figure out what you normally take in, and begin to increase it by choosing foods that are healthy, but increase the amount of food your body is trying to metabolize.
A great way to put on pounds is to not only eat more, and take in more, but to turn the new fuel to create muscle- working out to build muscle and not just aerobic activity gives you more meat so that people will stop saying that you are so skinny, and you can stay healthy.
A key is to not start eating crappy food with lots of sugar or fat just because you want to put on weight. Great foods that will help you to put on the pounds, while keeping healthy, are high protien/fat trail mix that you can keep with you all the time, as well as GNC muscle building drinks that have a high caloric content as well as nutrients to keep you healthy.
As I have had extensive practice as being able to gain weight, as opposed to losing it, I am well versed in how to add it on.
Hope this helps.

You're a winner at a game they don't even know how to play. Get a can. Let people contribute to your "Make a Wish" (you're "dying of cancer," right?). Otherwise, enjoy eating. When they say, "anorexic," just smile wisely. If they persist, say, "I guess a lot of us famous people are," and they giggle, join them. Otherwise, use the mysterious smile. When you're eating and they're snarling, say, "Would you like some?" and offer them some. Make sure they understand that, "Don't worry. I love you even if you're fat."

Enjoy this time of your life, because someday you're likely to be fat like the rest of us. (It would be good for you to at least be aware of healthy, i.e., controlled, eating habits, because someday, yes, you, too, will have to observe them and if you've never done it before it might be a shock. A lot of us "fatties" used to be "skinnies." You'd be amazed.)

Did you try... Ensure protein shakes? They work really good. I used to have to drink them!
