I'm technically a Catholic, but I don't believe in God the way the Bible describes him. I don't really think he's a being let alone has a sex, but more like a force of nature. I don't see how such a beautiful universe could be created by anything other than some sort of almighty force of nature that we should all be humbled by. But hey, I can only speculate, but I just think the human mind is far too complex and artistic to have been created by a series of completely random events. Someone or something had to have a small role in it at least.

The Christian god I presume that you are asking about. I do believe that Jesus Christ existed, and yes he is a man worth of my appreciation.
However, I do not believe that he became a lord and would carry all of our sins. I have chose not to enter this path as in my aspect, it would give me a greater sin in return no matter how much this man wanted to help us.
Humanity is there not because they trust in god. Tell me, which of the modern times' children know that god was a great man and a good god? It was society that formed them into the thinking that god was the supreme power, the person who will cleanse their sins as long as they believed in him. It was all so hypocritical that I could not even stand the sight of it.
Tell me, which one of those who loved Jesus know more than him being kind, caring, compassionate? There is a reason for all religions to exist; as a pillar of support, but as time goes by these well known ones have been misused badly.
If I were born in the time of Jesus, then perhaps I would believe in him but...things have changed.

Hes totally real. i didnt grow up going 2 a church every sunday when i was littler. know i go almost every sunday with my sister and mom. my dad is catholic so he only comes on like christmas. but if theres no god were do u go after death? its much easier 2 believe in heaven than just the fact that its over no more done. i love the fact that i have someone to talk to about everything. i like the fact that he forgives me. i am all for god.

I'm atheist. (I don't believe in God)
I don't want to write why in a ton of detail, but I can say that I believe in evolution and like to be scientific about things.
Everything has a rational explanation, and to the things that don't, we just don't have an explanation for them yet.
I dislike religion of any kind. Sorry if you disagree, but she asked for opinions. Religions start war and feuding. Religion is a huge 'hypocrite'. It tells us to be kind to the environment and everything, but everyone ends up destroying it and each other. Nice system going on there.
And to xx.angel.xx who was explaining about air being like 'God', we know air is there or we'd be dead. There's scientific evidence for it.

god in general wither christian jewish muslim or any other religion is basically set up on the same level. without a higher being it would be a pointless existance. why would the human race be put on earth just to die. it doesnt add up. so a god head figure may not be a god and it may not be true but the world would be a pointless cruel existance

I believe that the divine is there, we just have no idea what it is. We have many religions claiming their way is the right way, and they try to explain the existence of God, Goddess, or just simply "THE DIVINE", when in all reality, they have no clue for themselves, they just made up the story according to their own beliefs.

My opinion of God is he is love, he is the creator of all things,he sacrificed his only be gatton son for our sins, what other God would give a sacrifice like that for us,so we can have the chance to eternal life in heaven with him, there is no greater love.

God to me in Total is pretty easy to sum up:
Love
Understanding
Compassion
Peace
Non-Judgmental
Lies within us ALL
Doesn't "just" exist in "religion"
Forgiving
Not just "HE", encompasses She and everything else, God is the All

To know man is to know god. For we invented the concept and keep it evolving as we do.
God is a mirror of us.
