Yes, we had no idea her parents were coming home that early. I desperately needed a place to hide, but we were upstairs. The sounds of her fathers footsteps falling on the stairs got louder and louder. I looked around frantically and decided to go out the window. My hands were shaking so bad I could hardly get it open. Finally the window came up and I belly flopped out on the roof. She slammed the window down, but my left ankle got caught in it. As she reopened the window, I jerked my foot out and her father jerked the door open. I rolled down the roof, fell 10 feet into a Holly bush. Her father never saw me, but I had broken my collar bone and was badly scratched up. Yes, I needed a place to hide that night.
