My new puppy is 10wks. old, we got her last friday, and I'm 100% positive she's a mutt. Beyond that, I really would like to know what she's a mix of. We were told that she is a border collie/ lab mix, however upon research, we began to think she had pitbull terrier in her.

Border Collie most deffinately...Lab...ehm, I'm not sure. I don't see anything that really looks Lab-ish. She does kind of look like she has pitbull terrier in her, but then again I'm not sure on that either...
I do know she is one cute dog. :)

If you really wanna know what she has in her I advise asking the vet. Afterall..they know best.

Best of Luck to you!
I hope I helped!

Btw..she really is a cute dog! :)

I see Border Collie, too, but no pitbull-I've seen LOTS of pitbull mixes (I volunteer at a local shelter) and she does not look at all like a pitbull mix-they tend to have large, broad heads and a blunt muzzle; the pitbull head seems to be a dominant trait when pitbulls are crossed with other breeds. I would wait until she's older to make a more accurate guess; 10 weeks is still pretty young. She still has a lot of growing and changing to do!
Good luck with your puppy! She's adorable! :)

I can definitely see what you are saying about the pitbull terrier - her eyes and the shape of her face look like it. Cute dog!

DEFINITELY has border collie in her. anything else -- you'll have to wait til she's older. This will make her an easy to train dog but needing to be trained right or she will make your life miserable by finding her own "jobs"

i would say no pit in her. i have a pit mix. the chest is not very deep and her head is not very "blocky". my dog was very skinny when we adopted her and we were told she was lab/boxer. she has NO boxer in her and as she gained weight and got healthy she is definatly a PIT. we love her to death and it made no difference to us.
