tell your girlfriend to go to social services and ask for va priemer.it will cover your girlfriend and the baby. usaully after she has the baby she can keep it on her for awhile, maybe 2 months but i think that the baby will get it till age one . but in order for her to it. they will probably ask if you have a job and if you dont they will help you find a job.

He's right, state programs like medicaid. You will need to go to your local Department of Human Services (DHS) and State Health Department are good places to start, as they can tell her what programs are available. Some states have food programs to ensure the mother is getting enough protein during pregnancy, then after the baby is born buys formula for the baby or continues to buy beans/milk/cheese/cereals for mom if she breastfeeds.

Go to your local health dept and your girl friend needs to tell them she is pregnant and they will have her fill out some paper work about her income and yours. In about two weeks she will receive a letter telling her is covered or not. If so they will provide health, dental, eye, and medical care at no cost to you or your girl friend. They cover everything up till your girl Friends has the baby and 2 months after that. The baby is covered till it is 18. Good luck. Me and my bf had the same problem but i was working. And the local health dept help us in every way possible.

What great planning. Two uneducated children having a child. Great, another burden on society and another hand in my pocket to help pay for your kid.

Get two jobs and take care of your family. There are programs out there to help have your kid. Contact the hospital or a local doctor for details.

Jeezus!

These programs are typically offered by the state (not federal) government. You'll want to contact your state's medicaid office. They can either help you or refer you to someone who can help you.

go to your health department and they should sign her up for WIC and Medicaid insurance for a start... (call first to see what you need to bring) but dont go in there with her they wont believe she needs help...tell her to ask where can she apply for food stamps (each state is different, i dont know where exactly you would have to go)

If she does not qualify for welfare/unemployment go to your local free clinic and see what they offer for prenatal care.
