I mean to decide which path to follow, whose hand to hold, etc. etc. Put another way, would you turn away from your spouse "if" they opted for another religion or even, say, atheism and walked away from your God?

And to the atheists: If you had to decide between no God or your spouse, which would you choose?

As an atheist, I'd have to choose my spouse. If I'm not prepared to give up a couple of hours every Sunday to keep him, what does that say about our relationship? There are worse things in this world than religion. No idea how I'd force myself to believe in something I didn't, though.

That is why God said it is unwise for a Christian to be "unequally yoked" with an nonbeliever. Life is challenging enough being married and being male and female while heading in the same God-led direction. I would not want to think about trying to live with my husband if he changed directions on me now. The older we get the closer we get to each other and the closer we get to God. But no, after all these years, no I would not leave him, but I would not walk away from God for him or anyone else.

As a Christian, I will choose to live for God, but I don't have to leave my wife, Because many Christians has a unbelieving spouse, But if my wife leaves me because of my faith, I am free to remarry only in the Lord to a Christian woman. Yes Christians, That is in the bible.

I would continue to serve God. An unbelieving spouse is not grounds to leave them, but again, I would continue to serve God and live my life according to what the Bible says.

I would pray for my spouse, and I would try to be an example for my spouse to follow. God would take care of the rest.
