Global warming is probably a natural phenomenon. Temperatures were this high back in the 12th and 13th centuries, then came the little ice age, and now temperatures are back up. Instead of trying to reverse the natural progression, we need to prepare for the consequences, such as hurricanes, tidal waves, and oceanic changes.

The current scientific consensus is that global is taking place and that it is due to humans producing green house gases. So, yes, it is our fault.
As for being our destiny - well, I hope it won't be our final destiny...
Actually, the fact that humanity seems to be able to effect global temperatures could turn out to be a good thing eventually - if we are ever able to figure out how to do it in a more controlled manner. Ice ages do come and go naturally. If humans can cause the Earth to warm up, we may eventually manage to stabilize the temperature and prevent natural fluctuations that would be detrimental to our societies.
However, at the moment, it doesn't look like too many of the major governments are putting any serious effort into taming the tiger we've accidentally created.

Our creator no more meant us to do this, than he meant us to make war on one another. It's not our destiny, it's a sin to disrespect the Earth.
"Pat Robertson (conservative Christian leader) “It is getting hotter and the ice caps are melting and there is a build up of carbon dioxide in the air. We really need to do something on fossil fuels.”

It's not all our fault, but it is mostly. Science has proven (as much as science is ever proven) that, starting about 40 years ago, man overtook nature as the main force in determining climate. Here's one study of many, with a nice clear picture:

>>Perhaps humans are just doing what their creator meant for them to do.
What? Be lazy? Deny scientific evidence?
I'm not deeply religious, but I'm sure that If everyone abandoned their carbon-happy lifestyle and lived like the Orthodox Amish, our Climate Crisis would be lessened significantly.

It's the fault of humans. The earth was a perfect biosphere when first created. Over the course of time, humans want bigger, better, faster everything with little regard for what we had, with eyes only on what we wanted. Imagine what earth would be like without all the pollution? We can't even drink our water much less breathe in some states.
I look forward to a new earth with Jesus in control!

Last I checked, cars and industry weren't around to cause the melting of the ice age.
It's NORMAL for the planet to heat up and cool down. The whole "warming" thing is EXACTLY the same noise that was made back in the 70's when the next "iceage" was suppose to have started.
Please don't let the media do your thinking for you.

Well part is correct , that is why he put plants here to take care of the CO2. That is why the CO2 is much lower than the environmentalist want u to believe.... There is no global warming it is all hype and u bought into it. If the green house gas is not there there is no global warming.

There is no creator and there is no proof that humans are the primary cause of global warming, which is more appropriately called climate change.
Unless, of course, you believe that humans are behind the rise in temperature observed on all the other planets.

Dinosaurs went extinct due to climate change, long before humans were around. Species have come and gone for millions of years. How arrogant humans are to believe we can save a species or control the weather or universe.
