It would depend on the medication. Your best bet would be to check with your pharmacist, or read the printouts that come with your prescriptions.

Calcium and magnesium are mostly what can interfere with prescription medications. But check with your pharmacist or pharmacy information to see if you are on a medication that will interact with a vitamin or mineral.

I take Levothyroxine for hypothyroid and there are a few things that can interfere with it. I have to have 4 hours between the time I take my thyroid medication and my calcium/magnesium supplements.

normally as soon as you have swallowed them, but just tell your doctor what vitamins you are taking but i NEVER worried about that, i just take them together!!
