Using Office on Mac is horrible. It's a workaround at best. Use the real McCoy which is Office on XP.

Office 2004 for Mac has Word, Excel, PowerPoint, but not access. You can use it as a relational datab ase just the same if you buy the Access ODBC driver from Acutal Technologies.

Personally I detest the Office 2007 "ribbon" so I would definitely go with the Mac version. If you need to do a lot of visual basic programming then the Windows version would be a better choice. There's no soft shadows in Windows Office. Windows lacks lots of features on the Picture toolbar. Windows Excel version still isn't up to snuff when using Excel "list" features (first on the Mac in 1998).

Incidentally, the "real McCoy" is the Mac version of office. Microsoft Office started on the Mac platform and was later ported to Windows.

Download "Open Office"! Its a software precisely like Microsoft Office, simplest loose! You can down load it instantly off the Internet through looking "Open Office" on Google! It works simply as well as Microsoft Office, even larger in many instances!
