I recently lost my scholarship. I am not eligible for loans, as I have no credit, and my parents won't cosign. I considered the military, but it is against my beliefs to be a part of an organization that may be required to kill people, even in the act of protecting others. Is there any peaceful organization that will pay for college like the military does? Finding a job isn't enough, as I would have to have someplace to live while working there. Any advice?

Ask your college financial aid advisor. Many colleges and universities offer work/study programs for volunteering in health clinics, etc. Good luck.
