This is not silly, you ask some thing from God and you are hoping to get it.
After all of this I don't think there is limitiation in pray or making any wish.

Dear Habibi, I think that you confuse believe with miracles, of course God answer questions, you do not have to be religious, go to church or be a religious fanatic to believe in the existence of God as a supreme been. God is there for anyone regardless of race, color, believes or fanaticism.
God answer prayers.
Dear Habibi, humans do not need wings because we got airplanes, God let us enter paradise when we finish our life in earth if we were not to bad, respect of asking him for a change of gender I think he already show doctors how to do that.
I am not belong to any religion or go to church but I believe in God and he shows to me every time I wake up to a new day that he exist and that life is beautiful.
I hope my answer if not help you at least help you to same reflection about it.

If a young child perhaps five or so asked you for a loaded gun would you give it to him/her? of course not.
We are all children in Gods eyes and he gives us what he thinks we can handle so that we wont hurt ourselves.
Now you can say what about thermonuclear weapons?
Well the devil tries to give us the things that will destroy us.
I know it might seem a cop out to say this but it is true.
We are between a rock and hard place with two very powerful individuals both offering up gifts to us
The devil offers anything we want whether it is good for us or not.
God offers only those things that will help us not hurt us.
God loves you.
P.S. If we visited paradise we wouldn't want to come back
If you had wings poking out of your back think of how inconvenient that would be.

God is not a magician, there to either entertain us or to be tested by us.
And your original premise is faulty. While God may answer our prayers (1) we may not always understand the answer and (2) he is under no obligation to do anything "right now."
And he will not be lowered to the puny level of relative parlor tricks, no matter how broad you think your intellect is.

Well if we are to believe that 'god' is omnipotent, then yes he/she/it could certainly give you wings etc etc.
As always, those who believe will start placing restrictions on this mythical omnipotent entity, they have to do so, don't they?
