Cute ways to decorate you locker with out going to the store?

What are some ways to make my locker fun and festive with out going to the store? I already have little decorations from the store but i want stuff to make that I can find at home.

use an old feather boa or other decorative necklace. take an old shirt or other item with a pretty pattern and hot glue it to a cork board. then take old pretty buttons and hot glue them to push pins. find some pictures of friends or celebrities you like and attach them with the pushpins. it makes a great decoration. take old fridge magnets and add sequins or other decorations to make them pretty. or you can use a strip of blank magnet. for a shelf use 3 pieces of wood or sturdy cardboard and attach fabric or magazine covers to one of them to use as your top piece then attach the other two to each side and you have a cute shelf. for a retro feel find pictures from each era online or in a magazine ex. marilyn monroe hippie disco man etc. then find little things to hang around your locker like pearls boas a mod earring a tye dye bandana etc. to represent each era

Favorite pictures cut from magazines, homemade stars, clouds, etc. The ribbon idea was good, I was thinking scarves, but I'd rather have someone rip off a ribbon than a scarf. Experiment with making flowers out of colored pictures....you just want the color, cut petals and tape them together into flowers. Let the locker say something about you, your favorite stars, places you want to visit, people who are important to you and then high light with the ribbons, etc.
