Heaven is the throne room of God. It is the place where God and his angels dwell. I'm not sure exactly what heaven will be like in all its details, but as a Christian I believe it is a place where we will worship God and his glory. I also believe that heaven is a temporary solution for his people. Here's why. The book of Revelation speaks of God coming down from heaven to create a new heaven and earth. If you read the creation story in Genesis you'll notice that God was walking with humanity on earth. Since mankind sinned, death entered into all of creation. Our bodies were never meant to be separated from our souls. After God creates the new earth and new heaven we will receive our new bodies and walk the earth and do a lot of the same things we do today. God will walk on the earth with us, like he did in Genesis and we will know nothing of pain, evil, or heart ache.

As for angels, humans and angels are different creatures. God has made angels different than humans. They will never die or fail to exist. As humans we have a unique relationship with God and his creation. Humanity was given free will and a mandate to take care of the earth. Angels on the other hand are the messengers and "servants" of God. Demons are angels that rebelled against God.

I hope this helps you explain heaven and angels to your five year old son.

Death is always the result of life. Every living thing has to die at some point. You are given a life to live. Accept that you have a soul, and be given eternal life. (Born into the Kingdom of Heaven like a child)

Believe it!

You do not have to be a Jehova's Witness to get to the Kingdom of God. You do not have to be sure of God or Jesus. To be accepted by Christ the only concept you can never deny is the Holy Spirit (your soul!). The Hoy Spirit is your soul, the first step to understanding it all.

The answer is simple. Christ promised the evildoer that he would be in Paradise.

In Revelation chapter seven, the great crowd that survives the great tribulation, it says, Christ shall rule over. In chapter 5:10, the Saints, Christ co-rulers, are said to rule over the earth.

Thus the common dead when resurrected after judgment day shall receive this resurrection in Paradise on earth. So all the faithful, children, adults, everybody can do in paradise all the righteous things they do today -- play soccer, go fishing, and have barbecue.

The Saints are the only ones receiving a heavenly resurrection!

I think we will be doing the same things we did when we were alive.

For instance, I can see my gramma up there taking care of God's rose garden. When Jesus comes up to introduce Himself, she smiles at Him and says "Oh, just call me gramma, everyone does!" (My gramma loved roses!)
