Some people do it because of mental health problems and they really need help, but what about those who are affected by religions and ideologies? What is their motivation after all?

I have felt like suicide was my only answer. I felt like everything in my life was so horrible that I could not face another day and fighting to live through another hour. I couldn't do it. No matter if someone has a religion or not, they can still have a mental health problem. Mental health problems don't discriminate. Even though I'm a Christian, it doesn't mean that I'm exempt from having some problems.

Suicide is a great Sin!

A suicider declines the gift of God - the Life!

People are mostly affected by wrong political policies than religion or idealogies.

From a Jewish perspective:
There are situations where suicide is preferable to committing some sins. For example, if someone threatens to kill you unless you kill another person, then one must, if there is no other way out, die rather than commit murder. For another -- and unfortunately far more common example in history -- if a Jew is told "convert to my religion or I'll kill you" then he is commanded to give up his life, if necessary, rather than convert.

The real reason suicide is wrong is because a person is trying to sidestep around this learning exiperience.there are no shortcuts. We either learn the lessons here or in the next life.

Life is a precious gift from GOD and should not be taken for granted. You should never take what you can not return.
