You have half of the full bible. You're missing the old testament. But that's ok for now. If you are a new reader it's best to start with the New Testament in particular the gospel of John.

If your book has the four gospels, Acts, Revelation, and the letters from Paul then it is the New Testament. Many countries; Russia, China and Africa are supplied by missionary societies with the translation of the New Testament only - and they are only too glad to get hold of them. So far, so good.

A true bible has the old and the new testaments. Some religious sect only have the old, while others only the new. They get their own versions of the whole book to justify their beliefs and doctrines.

I have no idea what you have.
It is not The Holy Bible.
It is definitely not the King James Version of The Holy Bible either.
The King James Version of The Holy Bible has the complete books of The Old and New Testaments.

Hi,

Perhaps the bible you bought contains Books from Matthew to Revelation. It doesn't contain the books from Genesis to Malachi.

The bible is a compilation of 66 books. Perhaps you only was able to buy the one with Matthew to Revelation. If you want the 66 books compilation, then look for it in one of the credible bookstores in your place.

Friend: The Bible is printed in many ways. You can buy any part of it, or you can buy it all. I suggest that you buy the Old and New Testament together in the New International Version.

You can read it to learn how not to live your life and you can read it to learn how to live your life.

You can read it to learn how to treat others badly and you can read it to learn how to treat others with love.

The Bible is a guidebook for living a life that will please the God who created us and the result will be that we will please ourselves and others.

you have the new testiment only Bible.

The old testiment is much larger than the new testiment so you actually have less then half of the Bible.

Don't fret, a lot of Christians agree that the old testiment rules are obsolete.
