Sounds like one of your smoke alarms needs a new battery. First, go to the store and buy a 9-volt battery... it's the rectangular one with two metal bits on the top that shock you if you lick them. Make sure you go out and buy the battery first, otherwise you will forget.

Now that you have the replacement battery, locate your smoke alarm. It will be near the ceiling, so you may need a stepstool to reach it. The cover should have an arrow or some indicator of where to pop it open. Open it, take the old battery out, and put in the new battery. It may beep for a few seconds after inserting the new battery, this is a normal test cycle.

Remember, a smoke alarm with no battery or a dead battery is not going to save your life in a fire. Replace all of your smoke detector batteries every 6 months.

Turn every power point off. Then turn them on one at a time untill you find which appliance makes the beep. If none, then its probably your smoke alarm.

Check your smoke and carbon detectors. The batteries might be getting low. This happened to me, and it drove me crazy!

thats creepy! what are you still doing in a house that has beeps? first of all check the security rate in your country and ask yourself if there is any alarm.. you never know, maybe you're being timed and one day every thing may go......
