The location and price will vary depending on what EXACTLY you are looking for.
If you are open to adopting a Husky or a Husky Mix you could check out your local shelter or local Husky Rescues. Just do a yahoo search for "Husky Rescues" followed by your city or state.
If you are wanting an AKC registered Husky from a Breeder your best bet would be to check on the American Kennel Club's website under BREEDER REFERRAL lists. (www.akc.org is the website I believe) This will give you names/emails/links to kennel websites of AKC Registered Husky Breeders. You can either find one in your area, or some ship to you.
Also, do alot of research online. Perhaps join a Husky forum as members there will definitely be able to point you in the right direction- they most likely already know the breeders that are good/reputable and the breeders to avoid. Also, do your research to find out what problems Huskys are prone to and make sure that the breeder you choose does testing on their dogs to lessen the chances of their pups having this. For instance, I own a Labrador Retriever and they are known for having hip and elbow dysplasia as well as eye problems. Good Labrador breeders have hips/elbows cleared through OFFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) and CERF (Canine Eye Registry Foundation) Some also use Pennhip. Good breeders will do these types of testings to lessen the possiblity of these problems and by typing in the name of the Sire or Dam or even just the kennel name, you can see if the breeder does these and check the ratings their dogs got. If you're heart is set on a Husky why not look to see if there is a Siberian Husky rescue group in your area? There's lots of breed-specific rescues around the country where fans of the breed will get these animals from the shelters to give them more exposure to be adopted. You can also check with your local shelter. A lot of them have a matching service where you could specify "husky" or "husky mix" and if a dog or even a litter of puppies comes in matching your choice you'll be one of the first people contacted about it.

Breeder--usually $500-1000
Puppy Mill- upwards of $2000
Rescue/Adoption--$50-$350
You should research as much as you can about the breed before you think about getting one. DO NOT GET A HUSKY JUST BECAUSE IT IS A BEAUTIFUL DOG!!!!!!!!!!!
They are, but there are way more to them. They are highly intelligent and very free thinking, which means they are a challenge to train. They cannot be used as guard dogs, they cannot be trusted off the leash, and so on.
There are many quirks to the siverian husky, but it is still a great dog. Learn all you can before you make your desicion. here is a GREAT website, that I am in fact in the process of getting a husky from right now. they have tons of info.

I got mine from Karnovanda Kennels Reg. in Davisburg Michigan. It is real close to Detroit. You can visit her site at Karnovandakennels.com. Her dogs run $600 ea. She has over 400 champions from her lines. 3 Westminster titles. Large kennels and beautiful dogs.----BUT! Unless you want a chewing digging running away monster, do not get one! And I'm serious. These dogs are like "curiosity killed the cat". On top of that they dig a lot, chew a lot, and need LOTS of EXERCISE! Do not keep them cooped up. They need the time to run. It is not humane to do that to a Siberian. YOU MUST HAVE LOTS OF PATIENCE WITH THEM AS WELL. READ CESAR MILAN'S WEBSITE BEFORE GETTING ONE. IT HELPS YOU A LOT. TRUST ME.

Go to your local shelter and adopt. If there isn't one there today, there will be one tomorrow. They are runners so you must be careful to keep your dog safe when you get one. Please support your local shelter and adopt. Save a life. There are absolutely bueatiful dogs there and you can get one for the cost of a reduced cost spay/neuter.
