i am 26 yrs old, I live in TX., and i wish to donate whatever is useable when i die but i have no idea how to actually make it legitimate, my husband knows about my wish to donate but i'm thinking that's not enough. what should i do????

i know the thought itself of dying or closed ones dying is terrible but if somebody else can use my organs when the time comes, why not? we should all think about it, you won't need them after that, so give it a thought and make a big difference in someone else's life. there are many people in waiting lists for a brave and courageous person to say, i will donate my organs, i want to be somebody's hero.

You can put a sticker on the back of your liscence or go to your local DMV for a card but also in Texas there are 8 Donor Programs you can contact to decide:

In Virginia it's incorporated with the drivers license you might
try the Texas division of motor vehicles.

In Tennessee we can mark the back of our Driver's License.

If you are talking about organs, there may be an option you can choose on your driver's license.

I personally don't want my self to be donated, but my husband has no problem with it. Go to your DMV and have them make you a card that says organ donor on it.
Easy as that. I don't even want to think about him dead, he means too much too me.........................
