Hello first we are to LOVE the sinner but HATE the sin, and no its not discrimination its bible, God has the right to say how things go and if someone is living in a lifestyle that God has openly said He is against [God created Adam for Eve not Adam for Steve] then that person is not by authority of God allowed to serve in any manor of the church because they have chosen to live in open sin, further more that person IF they do not decide to turn there life over to Jesus and turn from there sins as it says in John 14:15 and 1 John 1:9 then that person will be lost forever and that also is not discrimination its God's Word. find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org God bless.

That ranks among the most stupid questions anyone could ask.

1. It is not discrimination to call something sin. If that's the case, then it is God's discrimination. After all, it was God that said it's offensive to Him. Should people be punished for obeying God? Then woe to you who punish those who obey God.

2. By allowing it, you sanction it. Also, a person covered in dirt ought not be handling clean things...or the clean things get dirty.

Say what you want, even God allows you to speak freely... but in the end, God's gonna end it the hard way for those who choose rebellion. And to the rest who read this, Yahoo will pluck this post as they are against people who are against the gay movement. I invite any of you to speak against homosexuality for a good amount of time...they'll stop you from doing it.

What the 'church' teaches does not matter.
It is what the Bible says that is important.

(1 Corinthians 6:9) What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men,

(1 Timothy 1:10) fornicators, men who lie with males, kidnappers, liars, false swearers, and whatever other thing is in opposition to the healthful teaching

It is the PRACTICE that is unacceptable.

Church leaders accepting homsexuals that are still PRACTICING are disobeying the Bible, and thus become hypocrites.

People who STOP practicing this stuff CAN be acceptable then to God.
(1 Corinthians 6:11) And yet that is what some of YOU were. But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.

The bible states that no man is allowed to have sexual intercourse with another man. The word homosexual is never used in the bible. If you are a sexually active homosexual that means that you are coming in direct conflict with the will of God. There is no hidden meaning behind those words. Guys who aren't homosexual also sleep with each other or rape one anoter as a sign of their masculinity (take jail for instance). So being in direct conflict with the will of God, I think, takes away your right to be a priest. It is discrimination but it is not discrimination against the person it is discrimination against the act which God has said to be unwanted by Him. Abstenance would be the only way to stop the discrimination.

No that is not discriminating their religion strictly forbids homosexuality. If they accepted them against their faith then that would be discriminating against their religion. Some churches don't allow smokers. And smoking isn't even in the Bible. People have had to quit church just because they couldn't quit smoking.

It is discrimination, but doing something in direct defiance of what they claim has never stopped Christians before. According to their Bible, homosexuals should be killed (by stoning, no less, how humane). There are a variety of other avenues by which you may provide humanitarian aid, however. It need not be religiously oriented.

Practicing homosexuals should not be priests, missionaries, or ministers, in the same way that practicing adulterers , fornicators, or thieves should not be ministers. Come just as you are, but you must repent to be born again and become part of the body of Christ. God bless!!

just as prostitution is the oldest profession which was prevalent during the time of the old testament, we can see that even homosexuality was also practised but was frowned upon. Therefore it is abhorred by the church.

Genesis

"And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him."
What did Ham do? Did he just look at his naked father or was there something more to it than that? Some commentators have suggested that Ham committed homosexual rape on his drunken father, and that this was why Ham's descendants were eternally punished with slavery. 9:24

This verse doesn't say what the Sodomites did to make them such exceedingly great sinners, though most bible believers equate "Sodomite" with homosexual. (But see Ezekiel 16:49, which claims the sins of Sodom were pride, gluttony, sloth, greed, and failure to help the poor.) 13:13

The two angels that visit Lot wash their feet, eat, and are sexually irresistible to Sodomites. 19:1-5

God kills everyone in Sodom and Gomorrah. 19:4-5, 24-25

What did Sarah see? 21:9

"Jonathan ... delighted much in David." 19:2

Saul is angered by his son's homosexual affair with David and says, "do not I know that thou has chosen the son of Jesse to thine own confusion of thy mother's nakedness?" 20:30

David and Jonathan "kissed one another, and wept with one another" when they parted for the last time. 20:41
2 Samuel

David says to Jonathan: "very pleasant has thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of woman." 1:26
1 Kings

God shows his homophobia by calling gay people "sodomites" and their sexual relations "abominations." 14:24

Asa "did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD" by expelling homosexuals (or "sodomites", as the good book calls them). 15:12

Jehoshaphat "did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord" and "took" the homosexuals (sodomites) "out of the land," or as the RSV says, "he exterminated" them. 22:43, 46

Josiah, with God's approval, broke down the houses of the sodomites. 23:7
