It could be a coincidence, the MMR jab doesn't really take effect until 10 days after it has been given (my daughter got a measles rash after 10 days)
Try and ring your health visitor or the NHS Direct if you are worried and give him plenty of fluids but it sounds like it could be a bug.

It sounds like he caught a bug at the doctors instead of a side effect of the shots. The MMR doesn't even take effect for several days and to have an immediate reaction like that doesn't sound possible. But, anything is possible, so keep him hydrated and call the Drs if you are concerned.

Yes. My baby had it last week and she was 'sick' for almost a week afterwards. She had her shot on Wednesday afternoon and went to sleep ok, but vomited on Thursday morning. She was fine, but a little fussy all day and then at night she would spike a high fever. We gave her Tylenol for the fever and she was a little dehydrated - so, not thinking, we gave her milk (which she LOVES), but - milk and a high fever dont mix. She vomited on Thursday night, then was ok Friday morning, Then Friday night she had fever again and vomited. On Saturday, the fever stopped - but then she got blotchy skin. That cleared up by Tuesday.

Possible. Keep an eye on him. And make he drinks plenty as he'll get dehydrated quick begin a baby. I would take him to doctors if he's sick again and / or developes a high temperature. Wish him better.

Yes, sounds like it. Give him some calpol, make sure hes not too hot (look out for a fever) and make sure he drinks plenty of water. I'm sure he'll be fine in the next few days....

Keep an eye on him, ring the doctor for advice. You should have been informed (by GP/nurse) about side effects!

Possibly, he has had germs injected into his little body after all. However, I'd give him some Calpol, and phone the doctor for reassurance.
I'm sure he will be fine.

I would call the health visitor/doctor to let them know so they can advise you, some kids react whilst others don't at least if you call them you will know you have done the best thing.
