Wear a hat, no-one can read your mind when you wear a hat. This is why it was customary for everyone to wear hats when out in public but the habit has died today. Wear a soft beanie when your in your house and sleeping for comfort sake and don't tell your housemates why you are wearing it. I hope this helps.
I should have said that you need to tell your psychiatrist that you are having these thoughts. No person can read thoughts. I have bipolar disorder and I sometimes "feel" the presence of evil around me and wearing a hat doesn't hurt anything and I feel more comfortable.
I read the Bible by myself, without any church interference; just me and God. If you don't read it already try to get yourself one and start with the New Testament. Don't try to read too much at one time, as it's easy to get overwhelmed and lose the meanings.

I am schizophrenic paranoid. When I was first in a mental hospital there were guys there who claimed they were receiving thoughts from somewhere and walked around with a steel wastebasket over their heads to block out the electromagnetic radiation. I have had "voices" in my mind and thought they were from something or someone "projecting" thoughts. They weren't of course.
You see it is entirely a matter of perspective whether they are reading your mind or you are projecting your thoughts into their heads. It is probable the guys there in your group home just read your "body language" and surmise what you are thinking.
That was over 40 years ago. I was given neuroleptic medications and these did help lessen the voices in my head but were no "silver bullet." I have been an outpatient on several neuroleptic and atypical medications over the years and have been able to live a fairly normal life. The medication helped but the chief aid to recovery was TLC by nurses and Doctors. The chief benefit of the antipsychotic medications was that they stopped my paranoid thinking not so much stopped the "voices."
It has been several years now since I have had an hallucination. I had poltergeist type hallucinations as well where things like lights, radios and TV's came on and turned off with no one doing it or even in possesion of a remote. And I have seen things moved by themselves with no one around. It is nice to be free of the hallucinations . I am still on atypical medications.
I hope this helps you control your experiences and paranoid thinking and if you are not on anti-psychotic meds get someone like a Doctor to get you on them. Good luck, good health, peace and love!

An aluminum hat, like in signs. Also a diet high in calcium and iron. Also, if you are in your room, try putting up posters with glossy finish, the ink helps. Non-gloss doesn't work though, for some reason. Also, keep anything with an electronic face (computer screen, electric alarm clock, digital watch) turned off and facing away from you while you sleep. Hope this helps :)
