Why are people so much more concerned with insignificant details about the Bible...
Who wrote it, specific words, and evidence rather than the Bible's Message of Truth and Good News?

Jesus Said:
they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

If you would only just take a look out that window... the specks become irrelavant.
God Bless all of you who take the time to read my question. May he allow you to see.

15)...and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16)But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears for they hear.
Hebrews 5: 11-14
11) Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing you are dull of hearing.
12) For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13) For everyone which useth milkis unskilful in the word of righteousness; for he is a babe.
14) But strong meat belongeth to them that are full of age, even those who by reason of use have their senses excercised to discern both good and evil.

I would have no problem with your analogy if the Bible wasn't being held up by so many as the complete, inerrant, singular word of God.
If that were the case, then the dirt on the window would matter a great deal. To take your analogy further, if people are pointing you to a window saying, "Here is the perfect window! It is God's window!" it would be extremely hard to take that seriously if it were dirty.
And let's be honest: the contradictions in the Bible, in addition to its many factual errors and mistranslations and the tendency to use it as a weapon rather than a beacon is a lot more than a few 'dirt specks.'
To use one more window analogy, it is as if people were crowding around a window that was broken many times and pieces together with all kinds of tape and glue, and had attracted so much dirt, fingerprints and grime in the 2000 + years of its existence that no one can really tell what the view is any more.
But, sadly, that serves the purpose of those who will point one to that window. That way they can claim that anyone who dares say the window is broken and dirty and difficult to see through are blaspheming against the window.
It's a lose/lose proposition for anyone who looks at the window and says, 'You've got to be kidding. How can anyone see anything throught THAT?'

I have "Obssessive Copulsive Disorder" along with ADHD, so I just forego the philosophy and clean the damn things with Windex inside and out. However, I do see what you're saying and I have to admit that my answer is analogous to a tennis ball stuck in the fence; is it in bounds or out? I guess the answer is technically, "yes and no". Alot of times it depends on the mood I'm in. Most times, I could do both.

it is impossible for glass to be that sparkling. although if such glass existed im valuable you does no longer be able to look on the glass window. except you had particularly efficient concetrating eyes, that have been in a position to concentration on crystal sparkling glass.

Yes. In order to make sure what I am perceiving outside the window, I have to make sure what is on the window is not altering anything in any way.

It all depends on how large and obtrusive the specks are..
When the specks get large enough and obtrusive enough they must be cleared away..
The specks in the bible have been large enough and obtrusive enough to need a clearing for 2,000 years.. No one has made an effort to clear away the specks.. the preferred method used by believers is to look around the specks and pretend they don't exist..
But alas "The emperor has no clothes." and I don't intend to pretend he does..

It is of utmost importance that one must verify the source of his religious beliefs. Blind faith is for idiots and lemmings. If God required all people to have blind faith in a flawed, man-made book, we wouldn't have been provided with the gift of a brain with curiosity, logic, and intelligence.
By the way, if you were to say the dirt on the window is religion, you wouldn't be able to see anything but the crap blocking the view.

The world is filled with the likes of a "Doubting Thomas".
The window or windows may in fact be dirty. If this is so,
the window cleaner that is needed to bring the "Truth" out into
the "Light", is "Wisdom".
"Remember this well."
