Well..u see..the question to this question..kind of explains it..im confussed..I am going to be a freshman..&& I am unsure..am i pretty..I am big beyond all belief..(&& i mean it..I am not like stick who thinks there fat..trust me..I wear a size 24 in pants..im fat)will.. i get a bf in hs..will i be able to make friends..real friends..will i be able to cope w/ the things ahead in the future..I mean..yes..I am a nice person..but the nice person doesnt always finish first..especially if life cheats..I am so confused..&& nervous..& sort of alone..what do I do..i need help..the more answers...the better..ty..

Bottom line is that you would live a much happier life being healthy. You will be able to do more, you will enjoy life more, you will get to date more. Boys do like girls that are fit and take care of themselves, it's just a fact of life. But hopefully you will meet someone who sees you for you and because you are a beautiful person. And yes of course you will make friends! Just be yourself. Be happy being you and other people will want to join you.
As far as being a size 24 honey I think that's too unhealthy. You need to do something about it and starting now would be best. Most guys will think of you as a friend and not a girlfriend. That is my problem. I wish you the best of luck! It's your choice and nobody else's. If you are serious about getting in shape let your parents know and see how they can help. You will be so glad you did.

Well sweetie I'll tell you...I'm a Senior now and Freshman year was pretty difficult for me. I did meet my first love and it was terribly hard for me {he didn't treat me right at all} so you don't want to rush things. But, as long as you're a nce girl with a good sense of humor I'm more than sure you'll make friends easily {older people tend to be more excepting generally} don't believe silly high school movies ;)

i would say relax you'll be fine mostly in all the movies they make high school look worse than it really is. just try not to freak out about things, trust me after the first couple weeks you'll be fine...
