I have been thinking of what career I should pursue and I was wondering if I decided to take courses in Korean, and Spanish and learn to become proficient in these languages, what jobs could I do both online and off line?

Hi, there are many possibilities to work, depending on the type of work you want and the titles you get, next I will mention some:
A) Official translator for Institutions and Governments: need a title called Sworn Translator" need to take an exam. You can contact UN, EU, Emigration, Social Agencies, Couts, Notaries etc. You receive a stamp that swears that what yoiu translate is acurate and tru. B) In house translator: you translate for firms / companies that have relations with those countries and for translation agencies. You need to contact companies in your town or area from those countries and or do business with them, and eihter you live near them or are ready to relocate near them since you work a 9 to 5 typical schedule. C) Freelance translator you translated for translation agencies via the web, they send you the jobs and you retun them complete all by email. Its good and quite safe. D) Interpreter, this is the same as all the above but you translate oral dialogues, presentations conferences. You also have A, B, C types of jobs but if you choose C - freelance they contact you ands you must travel to wherever you are needed. Travel often is financed by the contractors and if not is Tax deductible in any case.
Concentrate in Korean because there are much more Spanish Translators than Korean. I live and work as C and the pros are own schedule, work at home, tax flexibility, good payment. Cons there are slow times of the year where not many translations needed. Important that you learn as much word processing, graphic design and translation programs as you can.
To get experience first you must start doing some free jobs with aid asociations like greenpeace, social inmigrant asociations, etc. Thren you will be able to add experience to you CV. You can do this also by work study programs to get real experience.

There is a need for Korean speakers throughout the bussiness world, or can go to Korea and Teach English if your proficient in Korean, the pay is excellant!

I doubt very much that a professional translator will agree to translate a book into or from English for 300 pounds.
