A Christian? WOW! Now THERE'S a reputable source!

I thought some christians did not 'believe' in fossilized remains? Must be one of those satanic, scientific christians?

I don't think there's any way any ark from that time period could still be around, unless encased in ice. They recently found a fishing boat in the sea of Galilee that they believe was 1st century AD, and the scientists went nuts, it was such an incredible find. It will be amazing to see what might be discovered as the glaciers melt, but it won't be Noah's ark. But I'm only a Christian, so what do I know about science?

Awwwww.... that's precious. I am Christian, but that is just silly.

Someone though also said that Noah lived in a desert and would not have had any wood to build a boat out of.

Well, if the earth were flooded and Noah was floating around for 140 days, we really have no idea what the climate may have been like where he lived. There may have been all kinds of trees.

But.. I don't necessarily take that story literally.

Google "Cornuke." The pictures and the findings that are being screened by the Smithsonian institute are pretty interesting. "What if it is the ark?" Until recently the top of Ararat has been covered by glaciers and expeditions were impossible. But last year--even science says that the Ararat region suffered one of its hottest years yet. Also, I am a Christian and cant understand how anyone believes in an evolution of species without sufficient transitional fossil records. The earth should be littered with them. Where are they?

There have been reports of an "ark-like" object half buried in snow up on Mt. Ararat in Turkey since the mid-1980s.

It's well known, but nobody Really thinks its THE ark...

Uh, is it a fact that this fossil is indeed the Ark? Don't get me wrong, I believe very strongly in what the bible says, but also see a pattern that God does not allow 'relics' to be found by humans, lest they begin to worship them as idols.

wow, that's impressive since according to the measurements of the bible, the ark was only about 450 feet long. (that's only .14 kilometers)

It is based on some very biased and highly exaggerated "discoveries" by a self-proclaimed expert who supposedly found other "biblical" sites.

Not only that, they seize upon such menial things as proof that the bible stories are real, and yet when a bone is found they deny what it proves. Why can't they see that historical reference does not prove fables and fiction?
