Like you said what makes someone smarts. Is it our vast yet ever expanding literary skills or our ever growing dexterity amounts. There is a myriad of ways to calculate and isolate our intelligence levels but since you don't specify what way in intelligence I can only give you this rather short yet subtle and specific answer. I wish to apologize because I couldn't give you a proper answer to your simple yet deep question.
