Lemon On Face Overnight

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.

In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.

Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.

In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.

If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

if you leave it on over night it could cause irritation and make it worse. I think the phrase "more is better" doesn't apply here. Too much cleaning of the face can actually cause you to break out. If the lemon juice works in small, short-term applications, then that's great. I don't think I would trust to leave it on over night. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that could be, or how badly it could irritate the skin. You are right when you say that it is acidic, and this is what would cause irritation. If you normally leave it on for less than an hour, I don't think I would go so far as to leave it on over night. If it's working great the way you use it now, I would suggest leaving it alone. Don't fix what isn't broken. Good luck!

Lemon Juice works miracles on the face. Seriously, MIRACLES! For acne, fine lines, toning, everything! I'm not sure if you can sleep with it on your face but 20minutes per day or at least every other day and you will see miraculous results. I know because a friend of mine tried it, I saw her results and tried it for myself.

YES you can. but only like once a week over night. I leave mine on for like an hour or so while doing other things around the house. I love it. Don't put on open zits or abrasions, it will burn. Also you can mix it with baking soda. it will foam and make a paste. You should mix in more baking soda if it does not make a paste. Rub in circular motion, let dry and rinse.
I have oily skin so I have to replace the oil on my skin fast before the bad oil gets on my face so I use extra virgin olive oil.

And yes it is an acid but so is (AHA) alpha hydroxy acid that is in the skin care isle. DUHHHH!

1) Wash your face.
2) Apply lemon juice. let sit for an hour or so. rinse.
(Same if you do the baking soda mask)

I cut off a lemon slice wrap it in my wash cloth and squeeze
The juice into the wash cloth. take out any seeds, and apply to my face.
(If leaving on over night rinse the next morning)

3) apply light amount of extra virgin olive oil. VERY LIGHT IF YOUR GOING OUT. The bottle should last you for a very long time no matter what size you use. unless you do the stay at home treatment in that case use alot. dab under eyes around eyes to prevent wrinkles.

Just doing steps 1 and 2 you will see a difference.
Use it like you would use a toner or astringent.

No ,you should not.The acid in the juice will make your skin hypersensitive to the sun and will cause worse pigmentation than before you use it.

NO. Lemon juice is an acid. You can start the cooking process in foods by applying lemon juice.

No. It could be too acidic for your skin. You could wake up with more problems than you went to sleep with. Take care.
