My fiancé is from England, but he is in the US for school. He has only been back for vaction but we really want to get married there. I just love to have my wedding in a castle. Does anyone know where to have a wedding? And if the guest can stay there?

Like someone else has said, you don't want to sleep overnight in a castle! They're not exactly made to today's standard and are often damp or cold. Stay in a nearby B&B instead.

Eilean Donan Castle in the west highlands of Scotland is probably my favourite of all the castles I've seen (and I've seen a lot!) in the UK. It's really very gorgeous and is actually the most photographed castle in the world. It sits out on a little peninsula and is very picturesque.

I also want to get married in the UK (preferably Scotland) and have done a lot of research on this. Check out http://www.highlandcountryweddings.co.uk They have some great advice and also you can email them and fill out their form. They'll give you a personalized price estimate on everything you want - even if you don't use them to help plan your wedding, this price estimate can come in really handy! They can even give you a list of castles (or other locations) that meet your budget or other things you're looking for.

Outdoor ruins? Tintern Abbey.

Indoors? Something with a roof maybe. Cardiff could work.

You really, really don't want to spend the night in a castle. Get a hotel nearby. Trust me on this.

this is the list of places available for a civil marriage ceremony in scotland and contact details for each venue, you can find their web sites easily, and that shows you which are ruin sites and which you can actually stay in. you have to contact the registrar for the council where they are. these are all in scotland where we have a wealth of beautiful castles.
