Apparantly somewhere in the year of 2012 a lot of globally important events are said to be in store for mankind. Like the end times, alien encounters, buddha boy returns, etc. I was wondering if anyone had any information about then, or have heard predictions or have personal beleifs of their own to share?

My goodness...

there are waaaaay tooo many of them.

All I can tell you is that we are in the end times.

And the way I know this is the God of Abraham, the father of Christ, our Lord.

Read your Bible.

It will guide you.

But to answer your questions: it is the end of the mayan calendar, it is the end of time if you graph the I Ching (the oldest chinese book written by the first Chinese Emporer) the Bible code says it is a time when an asteroid will hit the earth, and scientifically speaking, it is a time when solar storms will recharge the magnetic field of the earth, which will reverse the poles and cause cataclysmic geological upheavals.

Take care,
k8!

Yeah, it's the usual mumbo-jumbo, this time based on the Mayan calendar which ends December 21, 2012. The Aztec calendar ends a year earlier; and Christians have been predicting End Times without interruption for 2,000 years.

A lot will happen in 2012 - and 2013 - and 2014 - and...

Nothing is going to happen because of the year. This is based on the the so called Mayan Calander...Pagans and witches really get into this....It is pure rubbish!

I am definately familiar with where the date: Dec 21, 2012 originates from...
I have read the books pertaining to it, where the date Dec 21, 2012 comes from deciphering the Mayan language, and calander...
According to the Mayan calander, the Mayan's break everything down into cycles... And Dec. 21, 2012 is the beginning of a new cycle thats something like 35,000 years long... According to the Mayan's near the very end of a 35,000 year cycle, the earth goes through some major earth changes, prior to the beginning of the new cycle... The new cycle beginning on Dec 21, 2012 is suppossed to be an age of peace, with no wars, a golden age...

I will most likely not be here in 2012 CE, but Satan will have 52 years after 2012 CE to go to the end of the world he is in, it is already 6073 of the 6130 [ from day six in Eden ], for Satan [ no day and hour given ], Matt.24:3,22; time can be made shorter, but not 2012 less 52 for time is for Satan from Eden, to be put in the pit of Rev.20:1-6; no Satan for 1000 years.
This is the end of a 7130 year period from Day six and Eden. The LOST to all possible is SAVED by Christ Jesus.

Eph.2:7; 3:21; The world with Jesus is without end. John 3:16; 2Pet.3:13; Rev.21:1-5;
