friend
1- plant have both chloroplasts and mitochondria

2- They do respire. prcess Photorespiration.

3- They use both carbon dioxide as well as oxygen.. but for photosynthesis they require cabondioxide.

4- They need both as both have different working mechanism and work on differnt conditions

*Mitochondria - Mitochondria are oblong shaped organelles found in the cytoplasm of all eukaryotic cells. In plant cells, they break down carbohydrate and sugar molecules to provide energy, particularly when light isn't available for the chloroplasts to produce energy.
