You should eat no less than your BMR (basal metabolic rate) and adjust upward for added activity - going below this will cause your body to catabolize muscle and retain bodyfat (starvation mode). Optimally, you'll eat enough calories to fulfil your RMR, or resting metabolic rate, with added activity if your goal is bodyfat loss and added calories if your goal is lean muscle gain. Ideally, it would be a combination of the two.

Go here to determine what your daily caloric intake should be for your age, sex, weight and activity level:

It's generally accepted that eating more often throughout the day is optimal, as long as you don't exceed your daily caloric needs, every 3-4 hours. Take what your daily caloric needs are and just divide by 5 or 6 to get what the number of calories per meal should be. It should be a healthy combination of lean proteins, complex high fiber carbs and good fats.

Your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) for your gender, height and weight is about 1,100 calories/day and you should never eat less than, otherwise your body will just lower your BMR (thinking you do not have access to food and wanting you to survive…) so then you could need less.

BMR: women: lbs x 0.453 = kilograms x 7.18 + 795
(BMR: men: lbs x 0.453 = kilograms x 10.2 + 879)

Your weight is pretty low…for your height, you could weigh 15 more pounds and still be thin.
You would be healthy if you weigh between 105lbs (and be thin) and 130lbs (not thin but still healthy).
I hope you did not eat less than your BMR in the past, otherwise you would have to adjust your BMR accordingly…like just eat 1,100 calories/day plus any calories you would need because you exercise and if you gain weight, that would mean your BMR is lower than 1,100 calories.

So, normally (unless you need to adjust your BMR), you would need 1,100 calories/day to which you would have to add all the calories expenditures you need because of exercise. Only you can know what type of exercises you are doing exactly, what intensity, how long…just go online to one of those numerous website that can calculate how many calories you used while exercising, based on your gender, your weight and what type of exercising you are doing and how long you are doing it.

I think you should do some type of strength training/weights training in order to build muscle mass so your metabolism would go up along with your weight, giving you nice muscle definition and a lot of energy.

Your body needs a MINIMUM of 1200 calories every day, just to survive - even if your goal is weight loss.

Check out sparkpeople.com (tell them isabellaj referred you!). They can help you determine - for free - the appropriate calorie range for your age, height, weight, activity level and goals (loss, gain, maintenance)

For your weight and size I would say about 1700-2000, depending on if you want to stay at the same weight or gain any.

you never want to consume less calories than the BMR requires. a rough estimate for your body weight is about 1069 cals daily.

so your range is from 1069-1603 cals (1069 x 1.5)
