The bible says that adam and eve were the first people created in God's image. It does not state that they were the first people created. They were just the first one's created that had the ability to think like he did.
Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel, then latter on in life it said that they had Seth, "In their own image".
By just looking at what is written, I would suppose that if Adam and Eve could have Cain and Abel, then have Seth "In Their Own Image" Surely God is capable of the same thing.
Unless man can do something God can't.

First off, the Bible was/is not meant to be a science textbook, but rather focues on God and how we can attain salvation through Christ our LORD!
Dinosaurs existed 65 million years before man. Adam and Eve were the first "true" man and "true" women, because they had souls. All people (including cave-men) before them are not included in God's plan of salvation.
