The gene for male pattern baldness is inherited through the mother (X chromosome), so you have a greater chance because your maternal grandfather was bald than someone who does not have bald male relatives on their mother's side of the family, but it's still only about 50/50 chance that you will become bald.

that is a very very rare TRUE statement.....
it is the case in a very rare percentage of families....
but the numbers are so super low there just is nothing to base any fears on, to be honest the more common reason for worry is if your shampoo has SLS in it.....
there are just not enough common studies to prove enough to worry about.....
STRESS is more of a problem than the issue itself.........

I heard it's hereditary from your mom's brothers. I don't know if that's true, but that's what I've heard.
