What's your take on it?

We've been dating since Feb. I understand that it's not really normal and out of my age bracket. We met at work and have known him about 2 years now. He's treated me very well, and I've accepted him for who he is.
I have a hard time wondering why he's with me though. Could it just be one of those things that just happen or what?

A lot of idiots seem to have an opinion on this kind of question.
Example 1: Do you even know what May-December means? If you take a lifespan of 80yrs, then 19 is April and 36 is June. Sorry to be pedantic, but - really.
Example 2: "I don't see how a 19 year old could honestly be attracted." That's purely a failure of your imagination, my dear. I wonder - what did you think of Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp at that age, which was some time ago?? You are being ridiculous.
Example 3: "SICKO" Thanks, that's very helpful.
Older guys like younger girls because they are fresh and beautiful and (relatively) innocent. Their stories are shorter and they are more easily impressed by house/car/job and so on. This side of the attraction is pretty easy to understand.
Young women are often attracted to power, confidence, a sense of ease and good earning capacity. Many guys at 36 are still relatively young and attractive looking, and they are more likely to have those desirable qualities.
In short, it's pretty easy to see how those relationships start.
But they are not likely to last, for obvious reasons. He wants to have a family, settle down. She wants to finish her education, have a career, travel, meet people and have fun. They are at different stages in their lives and are ready for different things.
Have a relationship, if you want. Just don't expect it to be forever.

I have to wonder why the 36 year old isn't dating people in their own age bracket. Normally May December romances like that have a pretty high failure rate. However, if the two people really care about one another, the age difference will work itself out in time.

He's a 19 in a 36 yo's body. There is a reason, hun, that older women dont want him. You should steer clear of any mature individual (any one 30 and up to a 19yo) that will participate in sexual acts with any individual under 21 years of age.
Its demented..he could almost be your father. If its older guys you are into, then I am sure you can find a mature, experienced guy closer to your age.

It's just gross. I dont see how a 19 year old could honestly feel attracted to a 36 year old.

Well, i did have a relationship with a guy 11 years younger than me,,,,We were together for 4 years, i could not ask for anything better, it was great,,,,
But, he suddenly felt like he needed to life his younger years, with friends, etc,,,,,We parted, both with alot of sadnes,,,I kept in touch, after he left, he started drinking, and driving, got in alot of trouble because of this, he sort of lost total control of his life!!!! I wonder were he is today !!!! It is ok,,,,we nebver know what is ahead of us,,,If we want to know, we have to try and take the chance----Good Luck

love knows no boundaries and i won't judge anyone who does that BUT if i see a hot mom (aka milf) at the pool or something and i COULD bang her, oh man oh man would i. there is not greater pleasure in life than to wake up in the morning and poor some nice cold MILF in my cereals er...i mean milk.

Well, I am 40 . . . and I wouldn't say I am "DATING" her . . . because a 19-year-old and I have very little to talk about.
But the Sex is good. . . .for HER anyway. LOL!!!
She will improve with more practice.

well. if you those people really LOVE eachother, go for it. It's kinda creepy in a way, but it shows that age really doesn't matter and people come in all shapes and sizes.
