i am with this guy that i really honestly love and he says he loves me too but he some reason does no trust me over anything. Im 19 and hes 21 we have been together for about 7-8 months so for a little while and i have never done anything to make him not trust me. i have never cheated on him or lied to him i always tell him where im going where im at and i see him pretty much everyday. i love being around him and we both tell each other we love each other but everytime i try to be with one of my friends to just go to the mall which all my friends are girls and he gets mad when i try to see them or do something w/o him he always trys to say "are you with someone else?" when im not around him. i dont have any other desire for another person and i dont put myself in situations to do anything wrong... what can i tell him to stop thinking like this and i really do care about him and love him and would never cheat on him it hurts me for him to always acusse me of doing something wrong.

Girl, when a guy starts accusing a girl of cheating its usually because thats what he's doing and he thinks you are doing the same thing too. What you need to ask yourself is, who do you love more him or yourself?

Maybe its not you. Maybe its him. He might be getting nervous because he thinks you're scanning the mall for other guys, (when you're obviously not). OR maybe he doesn't trust the people at the mall because he's afraid of someone else trying to get involved. OR he had a bad experience with his last girlfriend and doesn't want to go through it with you. You're boyfriend loves you a lot and doesn't want to lose you. But you need to put your foot down. You deserved the right to hang out with people other than your boyfriend! If he can't handle it, then there needs to be a serious talk between you and him.

A lot of guys do that for some reason. I recently just got into an argument about him not trusting me. I think sometimes guys let their mind wander too much and think of the worst possible scenario.

The only thing I can suggest is tell him that you love him and that you have and always will be loyal. Reassure him that you only have eyes for him. Hang in there :)

well there's completely nothing wrong with you...he's the one with the problem he's having this "insecure syndrome" well most of guys do have that...well you can see it 2 ways. it's either he's too obssessed he doesn't want you near anyone..."but that ain't cool right?" or maybe he's just afraid of losing you...you should let him know that on your free time you spend more time with him than with your friends and tell him if you guys love each other so much why worry? he has your affection and it's really worth risking it right? just to make sure it's "true". ^_^

It sounds like you should say all these things to him just as you wrote it here. That should fix the problem; directness is important in all relationships.

He is trying to control you and keep you all to himself. Once he has cut you off from all your friends and family it is just so much easier for him to abuse you and somehow make it so that you feel like it is all your fault. Get out while you can!
