what are the best, most comfortable walking boots...?

I don't think there is a comfortable pair of walking boots, which is why I wear New Balance trail shoes for all my hikes, from snowshoeing to mountain climbing in the Sierra.

I've been wearing Dunhams for over 40 years. Takes a while to break them in but they will conform to your feet over time.
