And I'm 48.

Yes, the Bible speaks about the times and the seasons.
The spread of the Good News (The Gospel) throughout the world would be an indicator of the nearness of the end times.

I think that we are in the "last days" which started when Christ Jesus went to Heaven. We could have 7 or 8 more years or we could have another 1,000, God only knows.
Acts 2:15 For these men are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel:
17 "'And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; 18 even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. 19 And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; 20 the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day. 21 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.'
Still, we are closer to the end than we were when Peter quoted the prophet Joel. Check out this video that I put together and you'll see that I'm not in disagreement with you.

We've probably got a few years of this world's system left but something has to give. Having just come from a visit to my native England you wouldn't believe what is going on there. Christianity has died and people go around doing what the heck they like - very scary living in a place devoid of morals and values. The sad thing is they don't even know how it is supposed to be anymore as they are so far into this worlds system. Are people happier over there? No way! Many are depressed and in despair and don't know how to find happiness anymore. The sad thing is that the Moslim population is taking full advantage of this spiritual void and 'taking over'. Staying in Canada thank you very much!

I’ve been hearing this all my life and this old world keeps turning.
Perhaps if all the time and money put into the end of days business was spent helping humanity we could accomplish something worthwhile.
And make no mistakes, the end of days talk is a thriving business for many making a good living off speculation.

I don't believe is the most chaotic time in the history of humanity. If you live in the Eastern Europe during the age of the Mogul Kans you will believe that we are living in a paradise.

Take a history lesson. The world has always been chaotic. What is really different than 50 years, 100, years, 500 years ago?

I wonder how long a view you have of mankind, to say that it has "turned for the bad."
As to the end of days, we all would like to be so important that the world ends with us, and that's why each generation predicts that it will be the last.
Here are some examples: http://www.abhota.info/end1.htm

predicting the apacolypse has been going on since Nero was throwing Christians to the lions, every turn of the Century, every end of the millenia, the 7th Day Adventists had their day in 1912, the Jim Jones cult and wacko in Waco both had their days, every passing of Haley's comet, eclipse of the sun and other end-of earth prophesies that i'm sure i missed. One thing you can be sure of, the arsenals of the US and Russia can obliterate a million Hiroshimas.....anyway, sleep tight.

I wish and pray that God returns soon. The amount of love in this world is decreasing as wars increase and as more and more people die across the world. At this point in time, mankind is in serious trouble.
