My grandma refuses to be called great grandma, so I need a nickname for her. The only one I want them to call grandma is my mother. I would love to hear suggestions of cute nicknames!

Those are awesome grandma names...But I need a Great Grandma name. I asked her what she thought of gg and she said it reminded her of a thong.

My daughter used to call her great grandmother GG and her other great grandma GG Berta (her name was Alberta) It is cute and the youngest of children learn to say GG in fact that is why my grandma wanted her to call her that, she wanted her to be able to say it first. My Grandma is dead now (both of them are) but I think that is a very cute nick name

My kids call their great grandma GiGi (or GG) she says it stand for Grovey Granny! I think its adorable and we get comments all the time from people thinking its neat!

How about GG not everyone will know what it means and it will be cute for the kids to call her. It will make her seem young too.

My kids grandparents all have their own little nicknames that they like to be called. One is pronounced like Maw Maw. some others that might be cute; Ma Maw, Na Na, Grandma and then her last name. It is so cute for little kids to have their nicknames for grandmas and grandpas. Good luck finding one you all love. :)
