so when u slow dance with the opposite sex...where are you supposed to put ur eyes? i kinda think that staring that him is mean, but looking away is rude or shy....???

OMG, I slow danced once... and I didn't even look at the guy in the eyes. I never made eye contact with him. Maybe you should talk to him while you guys are dancing so that you have a reason to look at him lol.. or maybe you can put your head on his shoulder.. that'll be much easier.

Just like the person below me, I would put your head over his shoulder, and take in your surroundings. Every once and a while you can look into his eyes and smile, just to remind him you know hes there..and your glad to be dancing with him. But you dont need to keep the gaze for the whole song.

Looking him in the eye is not rude but can be awkward. I always get a little closer like a hug, so that our bodies are not touching but I'm close enough to put my chin on his shoulder if I wanted to.

Chin on shoulder, put your head in a comfortable postion and look that way, don't stare but look into the eyes and at the mouth

depends on how well you know the person. If you are comfortable with them staring them in the eyes is always a nice compliment, just dont stare too much. If you dont know the person all that well just try talking to them without having to stare all that much.

When I first slow danced, it was the most magical moment of my life, but definately THE MOST AKWARD MOMENT OF MY TEENAGE LIFE
I completely looked away from embarassment, but, to my joy, so did he!! My advice, looking away is cute if you act shy and vulnerable, but not if you act like you could care less!! Try to mantain eye contact for atleast 2 seconds, but just let loose and enjoy melting into his/her arms

Depending on your relative height: his ear, over his shoulder, at his shoulder or upper chest. If you're feeling romantic or seductive, make eye contact then close your eyes and rest your ear against his ear, shoulder, or upper chest. It shows you trust him to guide you on the dance floor. (If he's especially clumsy, keep an eye open.)
