Very common problem with GM radios

NO cleaning the head doesn't work
and NO resetting the radio will not work either
(if you disconnect the radio by removing the power supply, there is a chance you will lock out the radio)
the radio has to be reprogrammed , there is a service bulletin
particularly for this concern. ( radio not accepting Cd's, or ejecting Cd's)
call any GM dealer and ask how much they will charge for this service. Rates will very from dealer to dealer.

If all that is wrong with the radio is the CD is not working, you will have to pull the whole thing out and take it into a specialty radio repair shop. The only thing you can do yourself is clean the unit using a disc for that. Phone a dealer and ask where they send their units to and remove it and do this yourself to save some $$. Good luck.

try removing the radio fuse for about 15 seconds. the radio will reset and maybe it will take CDs again.
