Everything in the cosmic system exists because God Almighty exists. Glory is to God Almighty! It is not the question who discovers what... the whole concept of the Cosmos and God Almighty already exists in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna. Yoga exists in India since times immemorial... people unabashedly are patenting it in the West to make a fast buck... does it really matter much!
When a true soldier of God is bestowed with grace of god... does the grace of God reduce! The concept of the big bang and God Almighty are intrinsically connected! How? It is true that no new cosmos can form unless the old cosmos dissolves. Let us go back to time when the dissolution of the old Cosmos is occurring. This results in all souls atmans in the Cosmos reaching the last leg of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! In whatever stage of manifestation one may be... all reach the stage of human beings and finally gain enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and salvation (moksha).
All the dross within having removed... the complete cluster of souls' atmans in the Cosmos regains its pure pristine original pure form. Devoid of impurities... this cluster of purified souls' atmans in the Cosmos reduces to the size of half a thumb. Does it mean when the complete collapse of the old Cosmos occurs... it reduces to the size of half a thumb... yes, the truth is so! All has been made explicitly clear in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita... the foremost of all sacred scriptures existing on Mother Earth.
This massive pure pristine energy... the collective power of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos is what we know as God Almighty. One single grain of sand... a single soul atman... the whole collective mound... God Almighty himself! Unable to retain itself for long in its prime pure state... this cluster of pure energy again explodes with a big bang. Does it mean God Almighty explodes himself... yes, the truth is so! And starts the formation of a new cosmos... a new cosmic life cycle!
After the occurrence of the big bang... all souls’ atmans speed out in the entire Cosmos at unimaginable speeds. This confirms the saying, "god is every where... for in every soul atman we find God in minuscule form". These hurtling souls’ atmans in their cosmic journey gather moss! To regain their original pure pristine form... every single soul atman shall manifest a long series of 8.4 million manifestations. Only then the soul atman within liberates from the cycle of birth and death.
Initially manifesting the form of an amoeba (single cell formation)... these souls atmans further evolve into multi-cell formation, then insect life, plant life, animal life and finally the form of a human being. Only as a human being can the soul atman within gain enlightenment and salvation. Never from heaven or hell can a soul atman gain access to the kingdom of God. Having reached the stage of salvation... it is a direct journey to the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism)... a point of no return! That theory has been around for a while now and is nothing new. All it does is push the problem further back in time. Even if the universe is in a continuous endless cycle of expansion and contraction that still doesn't explain where the matter in it came from in the first place.
Something cannot come from nothing and to claim that the matter in this universe "has just always existed" amounts to saying "Gee, I don't know where it came from, I really can't explain it. I guess maybe it's always been here."
What was around before the Big Bang was an infinite, almighty, extra-dimensional, super being who exists outside of time and space because He created them. In other words, God was what was around before the Big Bang.
Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds have been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen hath not been made out of things which appear.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

First, this is a theory, and not nearly proved as of yet. Nor can science discover what the previous universe might have looked like; this is pure speculation. It would require being able to see beyond time.
Even without a "bounce", a god isn't necessary for the existence of a universe. Science has already shown (and this expirement has been proved) that matter can spontaneously come into being from nothingness. A particle and its anti-particle can spring into existence from nothingness. This defies no law of physics as the net mass and energy gain in the universe remains zero.

This is not a new idea it's been around for some time now and it make sense, because nature recycles everything. We die our bodies are recycled into the earth, stars burn out and are absorbed by other celestial bodies and made into new stars to start their life anew. Examples like this are all around, us so it makes sense that the universe renews itself. There could be billions of universes out there doing the same thing. As for a creator, a creator didn't make man and the universe, man made a creator in his own image.
Martin S said, "Something cannot come from nothing "
The fact is when talking about matter, it didn't come from nothing, it came from energy as Einstein said it would in E=mc2.

There are different theories about that.
There are two main schools of thought;
contraction and expansion. In the theory of contraction, the universe gradually expands then gradually contracts to form a singularity.
In expansion, the universe started with the big bang, and it will keep growing and growing until the end of time.

Well, if you happen to believe in God (I personally don't), you could make the argument to be consistent with Big Bounce theory, that it should read: "in OUR beginning God created the heavens and the earth"- perhaps life has existed many times before.
Without the existence of God, I believe that there have been others around billions of years before.

Gautama Buddha said,
"Universe is in the cycle of contract and expend, therefore it is infinity"
"Our human life is very short to compare with life of universe"
"There are so many (infinity #) planet like the earth which intelligence life exist, in the universe"
He is just a philosopher, and not a God. However, I find these answer some of the question I had.

If you don't want to accept that there is an original. eternal being, (God), then don't.
You don't need a big bang or a bounce or a steady state, or any other theory to dismiss Him if that is what you want to do.
The only real question is will God dismiss you?

My understanding of this (for those discounting the big crunch/expansion) was not that the matter in our universe was ever recycling, but rather "dimensions" are colliding and the resulting energy expunges "matter". Its an interesting and actually quite plausible theory when you look at quantum physics and phantom particles.

What existed prior to the (Big Bang) was darkness, and within that darkness there existed chaos.
There is no longer darkness within the Creator.
The Creator of all things has indeed organized this thing known as chaos.
It is our responsibility to remove the darkness from within
man.

I'd like to read that, because I thought the prevailing theory was that there would be no "big crunch," and the universe would continue to expand into an amorphous emptiness (how comforting!).
