Do you mean diseases or slang terms of disrespect? Vietnam was an angry place. Three common terms, or phrases, from in-country, that were meant to be disrespectful that one never hears were: (1) "same-same water buffalo;" (2) "number huckin' ten;" or my personal favorite, which I use everyday to this day and no one ever understands except other Vietnam Vets, (3) REMF, an acronym in which the first three letters stand for "Rear Echelon Mother....." If you are talking about diseases, then that, dude, would be the Black Syph.

What theses came from the Vietnam War?
I am sure there are many. It makes good sense to learn from your errors, and put the past into proper historcial context.

I'm gonna go with 'diseases(?)' here ...
PTSD comes to the fore in a big way,
Agent Orange and it's affects on the next generation in Vietnam and abroad,
Tropical Ulcers and those various itches and rashes tho 'trench foot' had been around as long as trenches,
can anyone else list anything?

Disses? Your question is unintelligible. Do you mean diseases? Your question still would not make any sense, but at least it would be composed of real words.

I can only guess you mean ' disadvantages'.
If this is so then I would say it displayed to the world and to the US people that their army wasn't just as invincable as what they thought it was.
