You are talking about superstitious nonsense. Of course, unpleasant things will happen on July 7, and those unpleasant things will be attributed to this silliness.
I remember having married my first wife on July 7, 1970. Now that was unpleasant.

You are talking about the pagan pseudoscience of numerology, which some fundamentalist Christians seem overly fascinated with, to their detriment. 7/7/07 is just another day, not unlike 7/6/07 or 7/8/07. But don't worry - when nothing unusual happens, it will all come up again next year - on 8/8/08. As though a calendar devised by men somehow holds power over the universe, and over God Himself. Sad.

Didn't see the show, but the people advocating 07-07-07 should also be looking at 06-06-06 and the inability of man to reach perfection -- or to figure out God.

I don't have TV, so I have no clue.
But I do know that my pastor mentioned that a lot of people are feeling called to pray and to fast for 07/07/07 to see what God can do. It's not about wanting judgment to fall. Rather we want God's agape nonjudgmental love shown.

I didn't see the show but I can tell you that it just sounds like a bunch of hype based upon numerology. I've never watched that show but a lot of the shows on TBN have something in common with one or the other or both of these passages.
2 Timothy 4:2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
2 Peter 2:1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

You listened to "Praise the Lord"?! *snicker*
Relating to your question now, 7/7/7 isn't going to do anything. Did anything happen on 6/6/6 last year? No. I think the same way. It's just going to be a normal Saturday.

Nobody Nowhere can predict what God is going to do. Anyone that tries to predict what God is going to do is a Lier and full of the Devil. Never be drawn in to such nonsense. Now they may be having some kind of event and hope that God's Spirit will be there. But to predict God is going to do a certain thing on a certain day is foolish.

TBN may have been okay in the beginning....but they have made predictions before that have not come to pass. I used to watch, but can't take it anymore. Whatever happened to sin? Why don't they preach about sin anymore? Test the spirits, friend.
