okay so im dating this guy, we've like each other a long time, and we're finally going out, and he keeps talking about other girls in front of me, even though I KNOW he knows it bothers me. because once i even said "i dont care" and he said "yes you do, you care when ilook at other girls i know it" and i was like "THEN WHY DO YOU DO IT IN FRONT OF ME?!" and he didnt say anything back.
so my question is;
why is he trying to make me jealous?
to see my reaction or something?

Sounds a little immature. Not a good sign if he doesn't care about your feelings this early on in the relationship. I wouldn't put up with his games, seems he likes making you jealous. Move on to someone who genuinely wants to me you happy and feel good about yourself. You deserve better! Lots of luck!

Nobody but he can tell you why he does that, if he even knows exactly why himself. It's not one of those kinds of things . It's too relative to the individual, not to all of humanity or to the male gender.
Here's a possibility. Maybe he likes to look at girls and he's not about to change that for being with one. There are people who are not bothered by it. It sounds like either you need to work on not being so jealous or find a guy who acts the way that works better for your needs.

Guys do this until you are in a serious relationship. He does it for 2 reasons:
1. Its a test to see your reaction. If you dont care about it, then he knows that you're not that into him. If you freak out, which you had a right to do, then he knows that you care what hes doing when you're not around.
2. To show you that other girls might want him, and he isnt whipped". This is what guys need to do to show that their still manly. Its an asshole move, i know, but they need to flaunt it sometimes.
Anyway, its annoying but its good that hes trying to test you i think to see if you really care or not about him.

One to see if you would open your mouth and express your feelings two and if he really did care bout your feelings and want to be with you he wouldn't talk to other girls in front of you yall really should talk about this and if he don't want to talk about it then he not making the relationship any better or trying to make it work and might not even care no more so becareful and try to talk it out

That is exactly what he is doing. Trying to make you jealous. It's an ego thing. To a guy being jealous means that you care. Maybe you should try complementing him more or being more affectionate. You should also talk with him about this and how it makes you feel. If he reallly cares about you he will stop.

He just wants to know how you truly feel about him and sense you went tell him he thinks by making you jealous you will show you true feelings. It's all a game.

Sounds like he doesn't care about your feelings. Any guy that can blatantly do something like that in front of you is just plain disrespectful. Get rid of the loser.

yup, same opinion with puffdigi. i do that all the time with my bf. he cares about you and he's just trying to see if you are the same. But do tell him if it gets annoying.
