It took my belly ring at least 6-7 months to heal. I cleaned it everyday like they told me to but I was in the pool within a month. Be sure to clean it good afterwards, though. When I got in the shower, I used Dial bar soap and scrubbed around my belly button and then cupped my hand underneath it and let the soapy water stay there for a few minutes. But I think you would be fine in the ocean. Another thing you can do to help heal it quicker is take a shot glass, fill it with warm salt water and put your belly button inside the glass for like 10 minutes.

yeah not a good idea, i have a belly piercing, it did not hurt at all when i got it done, but it was sore for a while. if you just care for it like they say it will heal perfectly. Do what you want instead, and it will be an annoying process.
use mouth wash and unscented soap on it, like anytime that you think of it
no hot tubs, pools or ocean.
low cut jeans, pants, sweat pants... will be your best friends

yes its ok to go into the ocean, its probably just going to sting a little. my belly button took 2 months to heal, probably about the same for nose piercings,

They usually take about 2-3 months to heal. I would think it's ok to swim in the ocean since they tell you to wash the wound out with salt water right? lol I had mine done last year before I went to VA Beach. Everything went fine. I would try to re-apply sunscreen around those area's since they're more sensitive right now.

Nostril is about 3 to 6 months. Navel is 6 months to a year.
No, you cannot go swimming a week after unless you use a waterproof bandage like Tegaderm. Oceans and lakes have a lot of bacteria and pools have harsh chemicals. If you want to swim, use a bandage.

Take extra care for first 6 weeks for both nose piercing and belly piercing. You cant take your nose piercing out or belly piercing out for the first 3 months

no definatly not unless you want to risk the possiblitly of infection and then you will have to take your piercing out.. my belly button took a full 6 months to heal of not going into ocean or pools.. make sure you clean it every day or you will just have to take it out once it gets infected and have a nasty scar
