Care to share the content of the fatwa? Just to state that some jurisprudent has made a ruling says absolutely nothing. Did you know there is a law about horses in Virginia?


Edit: Ok, I take that comment as admission that you have no idea what the ruling actually said. My guess would be that its an advisory against eating carp from the Tigris, given all the war induced pollution, but I actually have no idea.

At my mother's Catholic church, they have a day that they bless all the domesticated animals that people care to bring in. Does that count?
